The BASE Awards are the biggest annual celebration of the UK Home Entertainment Industry, recognising excellence across Transactional, SVOD, AVOD & FAST – from retailers and platforms, to studios, producers and distributors.
This year, one of the most exciting awards is in YOUR hands: the TiVo Entertainment Moment of the Last 45 Years – one of only two awards voted for by the public. And in 2025, to celebrate the 45th Anniversary of BASE and transactional Home Entertainment, we’re asking you to help crown the standout entertainment moment of the last 45 years!
From Leo and Kate at the front of the Titanic, to Patrick Swayze’s lift in Dirty Dancing, from Bridget Jones’ big pants to Thanos’ iconic snap, to the many regenerations of Doctor Who… which moment has had the biggest impact on you?

Vote for ANY moment you wish, as long as it has been released on transactional entertainment in the UK in the last 45 years.

The first round of voting closes on 26th September.

The Top 10 most-voted moments will then be shortlisted and put forward for a second round of public voting at the beginning of October.
