Ayo Akinwolere Returns as Host for the 2024 BASE Awards for Third Consecutive Year!

BASE is thrilled to announce that Ayo Akinwolere, multiple BAFTA nominee and RTS Award winner, will return as the host of the 2024 BASE Awards for the third consecutive year. The much-anticipated event will take place on Wednesday 25th September at the Camden Roundhouse and promises to be an unforgettable night celebrating the best of the UK’s home entertainment industry.

Ayo, a dynamic and charismatic television presenter, has become a beloved fixture at the BASE Awards, bringing his unique blend of charm, wit, and infectious energy to the stage. An award-winning BBC Journalist and speaker, with over 15 years of broadcasting experience, Ayo has presented shows for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, CBS and Paramount+, bringing his trademark intelligence and authentic approach to everything he does.
